Julian Egbert "Bert" Bryant, Jr. of Thompson Station, TN passed away on Friday, February 12, 2016. He was born on October 10, 1927 in Knoxville, TN. Mr. Bryant graduated from Central High School in Savannah, TN and from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville as an Electrical Engineer. He served in the U.S. Army and was employed by Tennessee Valley Electrical Supply Company in Nashville and Memphis. Mr. Bryant was a member of Franklin First United Methodist Church and an avid golfer. He was preceded in death by his wife of sixty years, Elizabeth McAlpin Bryant. Survivors include his sister Barbara Bryant Kyle of Greenville, SC, sons David Julian Bryant (Elaine) of Los Gatos, CA and Michael Joseph Bryant (Jan) of La Vergne, TN, and grandchildren Michael, Camille, and Tyler.

Celebration of Life Service on Tuesday, February 16, 2016 at ten o'clock in Woodlawn's Dignity Hall. Gathering of family and friends will be Monday, February 15, 2016 from two o'clock until eight o'clock at Woodlawn Roesch- Patton Funeral Home. Interment to follow in Woodlawn Memorial Park.

Flowers will be accepted or memorial contributions may be made to Franklin First United Methodist Church, 120 Aldersgate Way, Franklin, TN 37069.
