Katharine M. Thomas, 82, of 405 East Ave. died Thursday, March 20, 1997, at Pekin Hospital in Pekin.
Born Aug. 10, 1914, in Minier to Frank and Theresia Wurdinger Long, she married Carl B. Thomas on June 5, 1937, in Pekin. He died May 28, 1994, in Pekin. She also was preceded in death by one daughter, Barbara Justice, and one brother.
Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Stephen (Sharon) Johnson of Bloomington and Mrs. Larry (Linda) Carter of Normal; three brothers, Frank Long of Minier, and George Long and Melvin Long, both of Mackinaw; and four sisters, Pauline Woodley of Pekin, Lena McNeil of St. Charles, and Rose Foster and Helen Weishaupt, both of Mackinaw.
Burial will be in Glendale Memorial Gardens in Pekin.
