Carl F.W. Stoltz, 73, died January 26, 2017 in his home of 40 years. Born in Renovo, PA, he was the son of the late Carl W. and Edna I. (Jury) Stoltz. Mr. Stoltz was a 1961 graduate of Renovo High School and a Navy veteran. He was a 1969 graduate of Slippery Rock State College, and then taught history and coached numerous sports for the next 28 years at Great Valley High School, in Malvern, PA. Mr. Stoltz was a devoted sports official for the NCAA and PIAA for over 35 years. He was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed traveling the country, and after retirement was a member of the Penn Coachmen R.V. Club. He was also a member of the Pennsylvania Masons (Phoenix Lodge No. 75), as well as the Fraternal Order of the Eagles. Mr. Stoltz was an active member of Washington Memorial Chapel in Valley Forge, PA. Mr. Stoltz married in 1973 and was preceded in death by his wife of 24 years, Jane J. (Sefranek) Stoltz, in 1998. He remarried in 2002 and is survived by his wife, Terri A. (Moore) Stoltz. He is also survived by his brother Raymond A. (Julie) Stoltz of Mesquite, NV; three sons: C. Eric (Andrea) Stoltz of Phoenixville, Jonathan E. (Sarah Huesing) Stoltz of St. Paul, MN, and Thomas R. (fiancée Bethany) Stoltz of Dallas, TX; and two grandchildren: Callie and Dylan. His memorial service will be held Saturday, February 4, 2017 at Washington Memorial Chapel, Valley Forge, at 11 a.m. Friends will be received from 9:45-10:45 a.m. and a Masonic Service will begin at 10:45 a.m. Interment will follow at Washington Memorial Chapel Churchyard.
