Grace Teresa De Loof, age 90, passed away in her Tuttle home on Tuesday, January 23, 2017 after a short illness. She was born on September 4, 1926 in Detroit, Michigan to Stanley & Mabel Mousseau Marx. Grace was raised in Detroit & graduated high school. She married the βboy next doorβ, Richard De Loof at the end of the war on July 31, 1948 in Detroit. Grace was a personal secretary during the war, then becoming a housewife & volunteer for many groups & schools. After settling in Austin, TX., she & Richard started CARITAS, a medical volunteer group helping the less fortunate. Grace & Richard received numerous awards for their work, including a citation from President Reagan. Grace was a devoted Catholic & loved to read.
