Jeremiah Isgrigg married Martha "Mattie" J. Thompson May 6, 1875, in Bartholomew Co., Indiana. She was mentioned in the (Columbus, Indiana) Evening Republican on Oct. 31, 1924, as being quite ill, but no further documentation for her death or burial has been found. Neither Jeremiah nor Martha has a gravestone at Mt. Pleasant.

The Isgriggs had six children, the last--Ella--was born a few weeks after Jeremiah's death. These were: Walter Edward, Stella Jane, Clara Belle, Emma J., Otto Earl, and Ella Cecile Isgrigg.

Died on the 1st inst., of consumption, Jeremiah M. Isgrigg, aged 36 years. He was buried the next day at the Mount Pleasant cemetery. The funeral services were conducted by Pres. Kiracofe. Jack, as he was familiarly called, was highly esteemed by those who knew him, and his widow, with five little children, has the sympathy of many friends.
