Robert Perry "Bobby" Tabor was born on April 13, 1945 in Geary, OK to Oscar Washing Hands and Rose (Lumpmouth) Tabor. He passed away on January 21, 2017 in OKC,OK at the age of 71. Robert graduated from Haskell High School in 1965 in Lawrence, KS. He served in the Signal Corp US Army SP 4 from 1967-1970. Robert was a lab and x-ray tech, truck driver, bus driver for metro transit, and was instrumental in purchasing the Sand Creek Massacre land in Colorado. Robert served as Arapaho Chief in Arapaho tradition. He was a member of the Cornerstone Baptist Church in Geary, OK.


Survivors Include: his wife, Colleen Tabor of the home Calumet, OK, his children, Robyn Castillo of TX, Melissa Turner of Okemah, OK, Bobbi Sue Tabor of Pawnee, OK, Robert Tabor, Jr. of Pawnee, OK, Joel Tabor of Pawnee, OK, Janet Tabor of El Reno, OK, Rani Tabor of OKC,OK, Feather Tabor of Calumet, OK, Lydia Tabor of Calumet, OK, Joann Leflore of NM, John Leflore of OKC,OK, and Donald Leflore of Geary, OK, 38 grandchildren, 2-great grandchildren, his siblings, Lucille Tabor Todd of Maple, OK, Peggy Tabor Dawson of OKC,OK, and Lionel Tabor of Geary, OK, as well as many other relatives and friends.


He was preceded in death by his parents, Oscar and Rose Tabor, his children, John Tabor, Tish Haag, his grandsons, Delos Tabor Bear and Dakota Eagle, his siblings, Mildred Tabor Falls, Jack Tabor, and Daryl Tabor.
