She was born April 26, 1948, in Filadelfia, Italy, a daughter of the late Francesco and Francesca Gregoraci DiCicco and stepdaughter of the late Vito DiCicco.
She was a member of St. Andrew's Parish. Carmela was a loving and dedicated wife, mother, grandmother and sister.
Surviving are her husband of 51 years, Bruno Campisano; sons, Vito Campinsano and his wife, Brenda, Palmyra; Francesco Campisano and his wife, Catherine, Round Rock, Texas; six grandchildren; sister, Angela Koval and her husband, Paul, of Mountain Top; three sisters and four brothers in Italy.
To respect Carmela's wishes, a memorial service and Mass will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, in St. Andrew's Parish, 316 Parish St., Wilkes-Barre. Entombment will be in St. Mary's Cemetery in Hanover Township. Friends may call from 10 a.m. to service time.
