Nehemiah was born to Robert Millard, Sr. and Elizabeth Hayward (born Sabin). Throughout his life, Nehemiah worked in various professions including Farmer, Husbandman, Constable and Reverend. Nehemiah spent some time in jail for money-problems but, the story is more than that: Read about it here.

Nehemiah was md. three times:

1st to Judith Mason on July 14, 1691 in Rehoboth (she d. May 28, 1696), together they had:

• Nehemiah, Jr. b. April 12, 1692, d. May 14, 1696, Rehoboth
• Abigail, b. November 15, 1693, Rehoboth, d. probably unmd. soon after 24 Jan. 1729/0
• Josiah, b. July 14, 1694, d. April 14, 1697

2nd to Phoebe Shore on March 3, 1696/7 in Rehoboth (she d. March 11, 1717/8), together they had:

• Judith, b. February 1, 1698, d. April 14, 1698 Rehoboth
• Jonathan, b. March 7, 1699, Rehoboth, was living in Norwalk, Conn., December 30, 1728
• Elizabeth, b. August 23, 1700, Rehoboth
• Robert, b. April 20, 1702, Rehoboth
• Ebenezer, b. March 1, 1704, Rehoboth
• Phoebe, b. 1707, Rehoboth, prob. d. before May 7, 1786. Phoebe md. in Providence, June 7, 1744, as his second wife, Stephen Colegrove Sr., who d. at Coventry, R.I., shortly before 23 June 1787.
• Esther, b. August 23, 1710, Rehoboth, living on September 10, 1777. Esther md. at Providence, R.I., December 25, 1734, as his second wife, Benjamin Whipple, b. there November 11, 1688, d. N. Providence, April 27, 1788
• ______, d. at birth March 11, 1717/8, Rehoboth

3rd to Mrs. Margaret Munroe on October 30, 1719 in Swansea, they had no children. Margaret was the widow of Thomas Munroe who d. in Bristol, Mass. on February 24, 1717.
