Mrs. Christian Miller died Sun. in Two Rivers following a stroke. The deceased was
born 19 Apr. 1829 in the vicinity of Magdeburg and came with her husband to America
in 1855. In addition her husband she leaves 6 children. The funeral was held Tues.

Miller - At her home in this city, January 19, 1902, Elizabeth, wife of
Christian Miller, aged 72 years and 9 months. Deceased was born in a
little village near Madgeburg, Germany, April 19, 1829, her maiden name
being Elizabeth Schuetze. She was married to Christian Miller who
survives her, February 28, 1851 and in 1855 she and her husband came to
this country and after spending a few months in Racine, came to Two
Rivers which place has ever since been their home. Seven children were
born to them, all of whom are now living, except their youngest, a
little girl, who died in 1879 at the age of 8 years. The other children,
name in the order of their birth are: Mrs. F.C. Miller of Odessa, Minn.,
Mrs. F. Garbes of Milwaukee, W.C. Miller of Wausau, R.H. Miller of
Milwaukee and Mrs. E.D. Pearson of St. Paul, all of whom are here today
to attend the funeral which takes place this afternoon from the
Evangelical church. Mrs. Miller was a noble christian woman, a true and
dutiful wife and a kinid and loving mother. As a neighbor she was highly
esteemed and that she trained her children lovingly and well is seen in
the good men and women she made of them. Her death was the result of a
stroke of paralysis which she sustained last September which made her,
almost in a moment, a helpless invalid.

last Tuesday afternoon were in attendance: Mr. and Mrs. Ed Pearson, St.
Paul, Mr. and Mrs. F. Garbes, Milwaukee, Mrs. F. Miller, Odessa,, Minn.,
Mr. W. Miller, Oshkosh, Mr. F. Miller, Wausau, Ralph Miller, Milwaukee,
Mr. and Mrs. E. Koeser, Oshkosh, Mrs. Whalon, Chicago, George Moore,
Chicago, Mr. and Mrs. Wm Schuetze, Manitowoc, Chas. And Arthur Schuetze,
Manitowoc.
