Funeral Services for Guy Mangram, 89, of Opelika will be Saturday, January 20, 2007, at 2 p.m. at Fredericks Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Steve Scoggins officiating. Burial will follow in Rosemere Cemetery. Visitation will be held Friday, January 19, 2007, 6-8:00 p.m. at Fredericks Funeral Home.
Mr. Mangram was born November 26, 1917, in Waverly, Alabama, and died January 16, 2007, at the Bill Nichols Home in Alexander City, Alabama. Mr. Mangram worked for Liberty National Insurance for 25 years. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army.
He is survived by his wife Kathleen Mangram; two sons, Craig Mangram and Bradley (Ann) Mangram all of Opelika; two brothers, Lewis Mangram of Waverly, Alabama, and Woodson Mangram of LaGrange, Georgia,and a devoted friend, Linda Johnston.
Fredericks Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
