Rosie, 77, of Jackson, Michigan, went home to be with God on Tuesday, January 17, 2017, at the Henry Ford Allegiance Hospice Home in Jackson.
The family moved to Michigan when Rosie was a young girl. She met Marcus Blair and they were married on February 15, 1958 in Bunker Hill Twp., MI.
She enjoyed country music, visiting family, fishing, and spending time with Marcus. Rosie loved having little kids visit, and she loved her granddaughters and great-granddaughters.
She is survived by her husband, Marcus, and four children: Michael (Patricia) Blair of Jackson, Susan Blair of Jackson, David Blair of Jackson, and Scott (Barbara) Blair of Jackson.
She was preceded in death by her parents Carew and Leavinnia (Wallen) Smith, four brothers, and five sisters.
A Memorial Service was held on Saturday, January 21, 2017, at Jeruel Baptist Church, Munith. Private burial was at Pleasant Grove Cemetery, Munith.
