Jeanne Allen (nee Loupee) age 76, passed away at home on July 23, 2015. A long time resident of Lincolnshire,IL and Tucson, AZ. Beloved wife of Andrew Allen. Loving mother of John Weyhrich, James Weyhrich (Tracy), Peter Weyhrich (Gail), Chris Weyhrich, and Thomas Weyhrich (Leslie) and step-mother of Andrew Allen, Jr. (Pam), William Allen, Michael Allen (Lynn), and John Allen (Jane). Proud grandmother of 14 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. Dear sister of Thomas Loupee (Nancy) and aunt of Jill Gebben (Toby). Jeanne and her husband Andy enjoyed many years of travel, curling, golfing and sightseeing together. They spent time with family and good friends in Hilton Head, SC, their home in Tucson, AZ and their home in Lincolnshire, IL. Jeanne was an animal lover and had many pets over the years. She was especially fond of dogs, and in more recent years owned long-haired dachshunds, Bonnie and Suzy, who traveled everywhere with them. She had an incredible memory, never forgetting a birthday or anniversary, and she could tell you the who, what, when and where of any memorabilia she had collected over the years! She was an avid reader, a member of book clubs and an investment club. She was a great cook and enjoyed having the family over for holiday meals in their home. July 4th was her favorite holiday! She was an excellent seamstress and loved to knit. She was a loving mother and a very supportive and encouraging mother-in-law. Her grandchildren were her pride and joy; she loved and supported them in all things. She will be greatly missed by all of us!
