Her first husband was George Augustus Wieland (known as George, Augustus, and George Augustus Wieland) and after his death she married John Gnau. Upon the death of John Gnau her name reverted back to Rosina B. Weiland.

Mr. Gnau was a widower when he married Mrs. Wieland the month of May prior to his death (May 1881). His obituary has been posted to his FAG # 90028200 memorial. It mentions only that he left a widow.
