Graveside services for Mr. Joy Roberts will be on Friday, January 20, 2017, at Midway Cemetery in Meadville, MS, at 3:00 PM. Bro. Lance Moak will be officiating the services with Franklin Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements.

Mr. Roberts, 72, of Natchez, MS, passed from this life on Wednesday, January 18, 2017, at Promise Hospital in Vidalia, LA. He was born in Ferriday, LA, on December 12, 1944, to Henry Lee and Annie Benner McKay Roberts.

Mr. Roberts worked for many years in the oilfield for McCullough Atlas where he retired as a backoff specialist; also worked as a handyman after retirement; and enjoyed hunting and fishing. He was a loving son, brother, husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather and friend.

Preceding him in death are his parents, Henry Lee and Annie Benner McKay Roberts; wife, Charlotte Loflin Roberts; brother, Sonny Roberts; sisters, Joyce Roberts and Marie Roberts Aswell; and grandson, Jason Michael Barnes.

Survivors are his daughters, Ginger Snow and Terri Adams; sons, Bobby Barnes, Joey Barnes, and Danny Roberts; brother, Lee Roberts; sisters, Annette Lewis and Linda Ann Roberts; 15 grandchildren, and 21 great grandchildren, and a host of family and friends.
