Obituary for Beverly Ellison
Beverly Ellison, 87, peacefully passed away January 10, 2017; her family by her side in Hemet, CA. Beverly was born May 30, 1929 in Declo, ID to John E. and Marion Olsen Simmons. The family moved to No. Ogden when she was a child and she graduated from Weber High School.
Beverly moved to Orange County, CA to raise her children and worked as bookkeeper and office manager in car dealerships. She moved back to Ogden in 1980 and worked several years at Mt. Ogden VW. She retired to spend time between Star Valley and St. George. In 2015 Beverly had to leave St. George and return to California to be cared for by family. She was a member or The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Most of all Beverly loved her friends and family; watching her son, grandchildren, and great grandchildren play their various sports. Always so proud of them! She will be remembered by all for her love of holiday clothing and decorations. She liked to bowl, golf, play cards and taught her grandkids to play all of them with her and papa. She was an outgoing, fun loving and kind hearted soul!
Beverly is survived by her Children: Judy Seek, John Hales, Jina B. Hales; Sister: Verniece Warren; 6 Grandchildren and 6 Great Grandchildren. She was preceded in death by husband Clifford Ellison and Brother Kent Simmons.
Funeral services will be held Friday, January 20, 2017 at 1:00pm at Provident Funeral Home 3800 South Washington Blvd., Ogden, UT. Viewing will be held Friday from 11:00am-12:45pm. Interment will follow at the Syracuse City Cemetery.
