Velma Spikes Henderson, 93, passed away Monday, January 16, 2017 at Sumter Health and Rehabilitation in York, AL.
She was born December 10, 1923 in Dequincy, LA to Ira and Ida Conley Spikes.
Survivors include her son Fred Rachal (Sharon) of Dallas, TX; daughters Melba Seales (George) of Tuscaloosa, AL; Dene Chaney (Ed) of Forney, TX; Linda Rachal of Phoenix, AZ; Bobbie Young (Derrell) of Cuba, AL; 10 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren, and 9 great-great grandchildren.
Services will be held Thursday, January 19th at Siloam Baptist Church at 10 A.M. with Rev. Brad Campbell officiating.
Burial will follow in the Siloam Cemetery.
Visitation will be at the church one hour prior to the service.
