Jack Ferguson, 85, of Waverly, Ohio died 6:08 p.m. Monday, 16 January 2017 in the Adena Regional Medical Center, Chillicothe, Ohio.
He was born 30 August 1931 in Waverly, Ohio the son of the late John B. Ferguson and Elizabeth M. (Collinsworth) Ferguson. On 24 October 1957 Jack was united in marriage to Bonnie L. (Primer) Ferguson, who survives.
Also surviving are two daughters and a son, five grandchildren, two brothers, and one sister of Mt Sterling, Ohio.
Jack was attending the Alma United Methodist Church, a retired Electrician for DuPont Corp, Graduate of Waverly High School Class of 1949, Member of Orient Lodge #321, F & AM, Jack was a veteran of the U.S. Navy having served during the Korean Conflict, he was a Democrat Committeeman for Franklin Twp, Ross County, Ohio, Member of the Pike County 4-H Sale Committee, Member of the 4-H Advisory Committee and a Kentucky Colonel.
His parents, two brothers, Robert L. Ferguson and John B. Ferguson, Jr., and three sisters, Alberta Hard, Eileen Taylor and Eloise Ferguson preceded Jack in death.
Funeral Services will be held 1:00 p.m. Saturday, 21 January 2017 at the BOYER FUNERAL HOME in Waverly with Rev. Keith Richardson, Officiating. Burial will Follow in Waverly Evergreen Union Cemetery Denver Road with military Graveside Services by American Legion Merritt Post #142, Waverly.
Friends may call at the Boyer Funeral Home from 11:00 a.m. until the service hour on Saturday.
