Fredrick A. Karsten, 67, of 1003 Park, was dead on arrival at Pekin Memorial Hospital Monday.
Mr. Karsten was born in Cincinnati Township, Aug. 27, 1900, a son of Louis H. and Minnie Lehmann Karsten. He married Erma Marie Gainer in Pekin March 30, 1946.
Surviving are his wife and a brother Wilbert I. of Pekin.
He was employed by Soldwedel's and Borden's dairies as superintendent of ice cream, retiring in 1965.
Burial will be in Glendale Memorial Cemetery.
