Daughter of James Clark Beck and Isabel Pearson. She was born in what used to be Westmoreland County. She was baptized/christened 3 December 1775 in Burton-in-Kendal, Westmoreland, England. She married Abram Clark 11 December 1796 in Burton-in-Kendal, Westmoreland, England. Abram died in or before 1805 since she was a widow when she had a male child with John Dawson, born 3 April 1806 according to court records. Her son James Clark was that child.
