Services Saturday for Alice Dow, 83
Alice Lillie Dow, 83, widow of Dr. L.C. Dow, and a former Marion resident, died Wednesday at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Jean Fenton, at Albion, N.Y., following a brief illness.
She was born in Marion in 1884 and resided here all of her life until 1953 when she moved to New York after Dr. Dow's death on April 6, 1950. She was married to Dr. Dow on Sept. 14, 1904. She was a member of the Marion Congregational church and Marion Chapter CS, PEO.
Survivors include her daughter, two sons, Charles Dow of Huntington, Long Island, N.Y., and James Dow of South Glastonbury, Conn.; nine grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Services: Saturday at 1:30 p.m. at the Murdoch chapel by the Rev. Lloyd C. Kellams. Burial: Cedar Memorial. Friends may call at the chapel Friday evening.
