The headstone photo in Crawford County was placed prior to her death. Phebe's death certificate specifies that she was buried on March 23, 1920 in Black Creek Cemetery, in Butler County, Missouri.
It is not known whether a second monument was placed in Black Creek Cemetery. Pending.

On June 16, 1898, Phebe applied for a Civil War widow's pension, application number 678212, James W. Trusty.
