John Roedersheimer died at 9 o'clock Friday night at his home, 301 Bressler Alley, after a long illness. He was born March 20, 1864, in Belleville, and was for seven years an employee of the Star Brewery, in later years being employed as a laborer.

He was married January 24, 1885, to Miss Elizabeth "Lizzie" Berthold, who, together with the following children survive him:

Annie Roedersheimer
Herman Roedersheimer
William Roedersheimer
Benny Roedersheimer

... also two brothers and a sister:

Jacob, of Jacksonville, Ill.
Lambert, of Belleville, Ill.
Anna, wife of Henry Schwiegert, Swansea, Ill.

The funeral will take place at 3 o'clock Sunday afternoon to Walnut Hill Cemetery. Rev. Becker of St. Paul's Church will conduct the services.
