Grace F. Bruesewitz, age 94, of Spencer, passed away early Tuesday, January 10, 2017 at Miller Alternative Care in Marshfield. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Christ the King Catholic Church in Spencer on Monday, January 16 at 11:00 a.m. Visitation will be held 1 hour prior to the church service. Burial will take place at West Spencer Cemetery in Spencer. Pallbearers will be her grandchildren.
Grace Baronsky was born May 6, 1922, the daughter of Frank and Nellie (Empey) Baronsky, in the town of Holton, Marathon County, Wisconsin. On October 18, 1947, Grace was united in marriage to Donald L. Bruesewitz at St. John's parsonage in Wuertzberg Wisconsin.
She was a member of Christ the King Catholic Church.
Grace and Donald farmed for many years in the town of Unity until they retired in 1980, then residing in Spencer. In her spare time she enjoyed reading, playing cards and playing board games with her grandchildren.
Grace is lovingly survived by her children Myron (Kit) Bruesewitz of Roberts, Wisconsin, Carol (Joe) Richardson of Ashton, Illinois, Dale (Debbie) Bruesewitz of Rockford, Illinois, and Russell (Bonnie) Bruesewitz of Marshfield, Wisconsin; 9 grandchildren John Bruesewitz, Colin Bruesewitz, Myleen Richardson, Michael Richardson, Matthew (Courtney) Richardson, Denise (Thomas Klepach) Bruesewitz, Daniel (Krystyna) Bruesewitz, Sara (AJ) Rasmussen and Tara (Jeremy Chapman) Bruesewitz; and 6 great grandchildren. She is further survived by one brother, Allen (Marie) Baronsky of Kenosha, Wisconsin and one sister, Delores (Robert) Noland of Medford, Wisconsin. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Grace is preceded in death by her husband Donald (1990), her son Gary Bruesewitz (1980) and her daughter Phyllis Bruesewitz (1954), her parents, as well as siblings Everett Baronsky, Janet Dumler, brother-in-law Lester Bruesewitz and sister-in-law Delores Bruesewitz.
