Donald Bruesewitz was born Feb. 25, 1915, in the town of Unity, Clark County to Fred and Agnes (Klein) Bruesewitz. He received his education in Willow Brook School and Riplinger High School. He married Grace Baronsky, Oct. 18, 1947, at St. John's parsonage in Wuertzberg, Wis. They farmed in the town of Unity all their lives until retiring in 1980, when they moved to Spencer. He served on the Spencer Rural Fire Department and the County Board. He also was a town of Unity supervisor. He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church.
Survivors include his wife, one daughter, Mrs. Joe (Caroline) Richardson, Ashton, Ill. three sons, Myron, Roberts, Wis. Dale, Rockford, Ill. Russel, Marshfield one brother, Lester Bruesewitz, Spencer and eight grandchildren.
Preceding him in death were his parents, one son and one daughter.
