Vivian "Grandma" Singleton 81 of Bentonville was called home to our Heavenly Father Wednesday, December 2, 2015 in Bella Vista. She was born July 15, 1934 in Wells County, Indiana the daughter of Emil and Ida Lash Baumgartner.
Vivian worked at Special Care Pre-School in Bentonville for many years. She formerly worked for Food-4-Less and retired from Wal-Mart. She was a member of Eastside Assembly of God and enjoyed singing, gardening, sewing and drawing.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Jessie Singleton; son, Robert Singleton and two brothers, Lee Roy and Harry Baumgartner. She is survived by her children, Linda Yell and husband Garry of Rogers; Ronald Singleton and wife Karen of Pineville; Jimmy Singleton and wife Cindy of Bella Vista; her siblings, Flossie, Mary, Bernice, Wilford, Bob and Junior; 12 grandchildren, 31 great-grandchildren and touched thousands of children's lives throughout Northwest Arkansas.
Funeral services 2 p.m. Monday at Eastside Assembly of God Church with Pastor Robert Ward officiating. Interment will follow in the Douglas Cemetery near Cave Springs. Visitation: 5 to 7 p.m. Sunday at Benton County Funeral Home, 306 N. 4th, Rogers. Memorial contributions may be made to the Childhood Leukemia Foundation.
