Alene was a people person who enjoyed socializing with others. She had a big heart and would help anyone who needed a hand. She enjoyed attending church and getting together with friends at the Tin Cup. Alene was a hard working mother of five children who loved spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Alene is survived by her son, Roger Myers and wife, Rhonda of Ramsey, IL; son, Bill Myers of Parkersburg, IL; daughter, Phyllis Dillworth of Savannah, GA; daughter, Charlotte Trout and husband Tony of Ingraham; daughter, Wanda Short of Marion, IL; 10 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; brother, Jack Miller; sister, Jeanie Addy; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and brothers, Ivan, Dickey Joe, and Jerry Miller.
