Funeral services for Mrs. Inez Harrison, a former resident of Grand Island, who died Friday in a Biloxi, Miss., hospital, will be held at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Livingston-Sondermann Funeral Home. Dr. James Chubb will officiate. Burial will be in Grand Island Cemetery. Visitation will be until 9 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
Mrs. Harrison, the daughter of Salathiel and Mary (Edig) Dutton, was born March 8, 1902, at Kent (sic), Neb. When she was a child, the family came here. She and Ernest P. Harrison were married in Grand Island. Following their marriage, they went to Cheyenne, Wyo., where they made their home for 17 years. Later, Mrs. Harrison returned here. She had lived at Hastings before going to Biloxi a year ago.
Mrs. Harrison is survived by three sons, Norman of Keesler AFB, near Biloxi, Rex D., in the navy at Vallejo, Calif., and William C. of Scituate, Miss.; three sisters, Mrs. George Campbell of Geneva, Mrs. Harry Tyson of Grand Island, and Mrs. Ellis Noble of Hastings; two brothers, Dewey Dutton of Geneva and Acil Dutton of Columbia City, Ore.; and 5 grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, one sister, two brothers, and 1 grandchild.
