Calvin Lacy

Richmond, IN - Calvin R. Lacy, age 68, passed away on Saturday (February 27, 2016) at Reid Hospital. He was born in Richmond on August 9, 1947 to Charles and Edna Lacy, and had lived here all his life. Calvin enjoyed fishing, hunting, and spending time with his grandchildren. He was an avid storyteller, who loved woodworking.

Survivors include his children Chadwick (Kathy) Lacy & Amanda Hensley; sisters Dorothy Gibbs & Carolyn (Manuel) Gonsalves; brother Mike (Mary) Lacy; grandchildren Sophia Hensley, Carson Hensley, Payne Jordan, Shawn Henderson, and Brandy Bridgeforth; special friend Russell "Denver" King; nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Calvin is preceded in death by his sisters Lynn Lacy & Victoria Griffith; and brothers John Lacy, Joe Lacy, & Gene Chaney.


Services for Calvin will be held on Thursday (March 3, 2016) at 1 P.M. in Riggle – Waltermann Mortuary. Pastor Brett Karanovich will officiate. Burial will follow in Goshen Cemetery.
