Gloria was known as a great cook, a lover of food, a great baker, and a welcoming host. It was a great day if you were visiting when she was making enchiladas, chicken fried steak, or baking! People across four generations gravitated to Gloria’s smile and warm reception. Even in her most challenging moments, nurses and physicians were drawn to her. She also loved music, classic movies, reading- particularly biographies, and favorite television shows. And in her final days she was solving puzzles on Wheel of Fortune and showing a great sense of humor, wit, and love. Gloria is special to all of us. She’ll be celebrated and dearly missed by us all.
