Mr. Andreasen was born Nov. 3, 1930, in Milwaukie. He served with the U.S. Coast Guard as a boatswain's mate, retiring in 1993. He later worked with Crowley Maritime as a tug master. He married Beverly Boylan in 1952.
Survivors include his wife; sons, Michael of Vacaville, Calif., and Timothy of Kent, Wash.; daughters, Pamela Fraser of Yreka, Calif., and Patricia of Sacramento, Calif.; 13 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. A son, Jack , died in 1994.
Interment will be in Willamette National Cemetery. The family suggests remembrances to the American Cancer Society, Leukemia Research. Arrangements are by Wilhelm Funeral Home in Milwaukie. Oregonian, July 16, 1998
