Pearl May Willard was born April 3, 1903, in Rolette County, North Dakota, the daughter of Fred and Caroline (Greenman) Willard. She attended school at Rolette, North Dakota and Pinewood, Minnesota. She married Nicholas A. Marsh on December 30, 1920 in Bagley, Minnesoa. They lived in Shevlin, Minnesota, for six years before moving to the Bottineau area and living there a short time. They then moved to Scobey, Montana. In 1937, the family moved back to North Dakota, residing in Bottineau/Willow City area. In 1948, they moved to Bemidji, Minnesota and in 1953 returned to Minot. While living Minot, she worked at Trinity Health as a nurses aid. They lived in Willison from 1974 to 1984, when she moved back to Minot. She had lived there since, moving into the Trinity Nursing Home in October of 1991. Her husband Nicholas, died on November 14, 1976. She was a Nondenominational Christian. She died on January 17, 1999 in Minot. Funeral was held January 21, 1999 in the Trinity Nursing Home Chapel with internment at the Riverview Cemetery, Williston.
