Word was received here Tuesday morning of the death of Miss Corinne Palm when her car and a truck collided in southeast Montana. The accident occurred at 11 Monday night. It is understood that Miss Palm had driven to Denver, Colorado, where she was met by her brother, Nelson Palm and she was following his car enroute to the Palm ranch at Ismay, Montana, where Miss Palm was going for a visit.

A news story from Helena, Montana states the accident occurred on State Highway 23, 75 miles from the Palm ranch, when her car and the truck sideswiped. A water tank on the truck tore into the driver's side of the car, killing Miss Palm.

Nelson Palm called John H. Sedwick Tuesday morning to report the accident. Godfrey Funeral Home has received word that the body left Baker, Montana Tuesday and will arrive in Fort Worth at 8:45 this Tuesday morning.

Tentative plans are to hold the funeral Saturday and burial will be made in the family lot in the Albany Cemetery.

Miss Palm, about 75, is a native of Albany, the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Henry Palm, Sr. who came to the Albany area in 1872.

Miss Palm resided on the Palm ranch southeast of Albany, where she looked after the ranch for her brother, F. N. Palm.
