She married her husband of 57 years on July 29, 1949. Lula Mae was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Mrs. Perkins was employed by Dr. J.V. Blair and Memorial Hospital in Corpus Christi, Texas. Lula Mae enjoyed participating in her ladies Bible class at Weber Road Church of Christ. She will always be remembered for her compassionate and selfless nature, her wonderful family meals, and her enduring love and devotion to her family and friends.
