Thomas, Toulon, will celebrate their 50th anniversary on Sunday, Oct. 28, with a family dinner at noon, followed by an open house from 2 to 4 p.m. at LaFayette Park. Mr. Ingels and the former Ethel Taylor were married Oct. 28, 1934, in LaFayette. They have five children: Corliss L. of Lafayette; Roger W. of Galva; Mrs. Howard (Rosella) Schumacher of LaRose; Ms. Charles (Doris) Rathbun of Colfax; and Mrs. Harold (Susan) Landrus of Cleveland, Tenn. They have 15 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. One grandson is deceased. [A photo of the couple is with the announcement.]
