Aaron Howell was a grocer and a grain measurer.
He married
(1) Phebe Wylley and
(2) Martha King.
In 1801 and 1807, he lived at 31 Reade Street in Manhattan.
In 1813, he had a house (96 Church Street) and a lot on the northwest corner of Church Street and Reade Street in Manhattan where he lived until 1847.
He died at the age of 89 years.
A member of the North Dutch Church at the time of his death, he was buried on 5 April 1847 in the general Dutch Reformed Burial Ground on Forsyth Street.
