Mrs. Mary Denise Acker, Age 62, of Scottsboro passed away on Monday, January 2, 2017, at her residence. Visitation will be on Thursday, January 5, 2017 at 5:00 - 9:00 pm. Funeral services will be on Friday, January 6, 2017 at 2:00 pm at Grant Memorial Chapel. Interment will be in New Prospect Cemetery.

Mrs. Acker is preceded in death by her husband, Cecil Wayne Acker; Parents William "Buddy" Sears and Alice June Atchley Sears.Brothers, Donald Frank Sheets and Raymond Wayne Sheets. Sister, Janice Scott.

Funeral arrangements entrusted to Grant Memorial Chapel Funeral Home.
