Thomas is the son of Thomas & Elizabeth (Lawrence) Stevenson
Thomas is the second husband of widow Sarah Pennington.
Together they had seven children:
Ann, Sarah, Samuel, Edward, Elizabeth, Abigail & Alice.
His will was date Nov 8, 1717 and probated on Oct 9, 1719.

"Thomas Stevenson died in Bensalem Twp, Bucks Co and was buried 7mo/Sep 21, 1719 as recorded by Middletown Mo Mtg . This would indicate he died in Sep 1719 and was buried under the auspices of Middletown Mo mtg there.

He married Sarah (Jenings) Penington in 1704; they having declared their first intent on 12mo/Feb 7/1703 and their second intent on 2mo/Apr 10/1704 at Burlington Mtg in West Jersie, at which time they were found clear and left to their liberty to accomplish their intentions.

They had 6 children, all named in his Will:
Wife Sarah; sons Samuel & Edward in their minority; daus Ann & Sarah to receive their legacies from their grandfather (Samuel) Jenings; daus Elizabeth and Ollife (named for her maternal grandmother Anne Ollife).

There is no verification/documentation that they had daughters Abigail and/or Alice and may be mistaken or a corruption of the name of daughter Ollife.

Will #179 of Thomas Stevenson of Bensalem Twp, Bucks County, PA, dated 10 Nov 1717, Codicil dated 29 Apr 1719 and proved 19 Oct 1719, Bucks County Will Bk 1, pgs 38, et seq. His Will is extant".

"Thomas Stevenson was buried in Bucks Co, PA on 21 7th mo/Sep 1719 per Middletown Mo Mtg minutes; he signed his Will 9 Nov 1717; he signed his Codicil 29 Apr 1719; his Will was proved 19 Oct 1719 (not the 9th as stated in Jennings work), Bucks County Will Book 1, pg 38. It's 4 pages long so I have not attached it to the memorial herein. I have used the spelling of the names as written in the Certificates from England and Will in Bucks Co, PA.

He named his wife Sarah and 6 children: minor sons Samuel & Edward; daughters Ann, Sarah, Elizabeth and Ollife (not Aliss or Abigail as stated in Jennings work). She was named for her maternal grandmother, Anne Ollife, who married her grandfather Samuel Jennings on 7 Jan 1672 at Aylesbury, Buckingham, England per their marriage Certificate. Ann's sister, Joice Ollife, married Isaac Marriott of Holborn, as his 1st wife, in 1681 at Mt Holly Meeting in Burlington N.J., they bringing a Certificate of Clearness to marry from the Men's Meeting of London dated 12mo 7, 1680/81 [Feb 7, 1681] and produced it to Burlington Mtg in New Jersey upon their arrival.

Ann & Joice Ollife were daughters of Richard Ollife of Wappinham, Northampton, who was deceased by the time his daughters came to the colonies [Samuel & Anne Jennings in May 1680 and Isaac Marriott & Joice Ollife in Feb 1681]".
