Funeral serves for Mrs. J. A. Wheeler, 72, resident of Meadow for 22 years, will be held at 2 p.m. today in the Goodlett Baptist church with Rev. Lorance, pastor of the Slaton Primitive Baptist church, officiating.
Mrs. Wheeler died early Saturday in St. Mary's hospital. She had been ill several weeks.
Survivors are her husband; one son, Eddie R. Hannock of Ropesville; one daughter, Mrs. Roxie J. Lucas of Ropesville; nine grandchildren and three great-grand-children.
Bryan McDonald and Son Funeral home is the director in charge.
