Rita Rogers, 71, of West Union, Ohio died Saturday, December 31, 2016 at her home. She was born January 7, 1945 in Dayton, Ohio. She was preceded in death by her parents, Dale and Dolores (St. John) Stutz, and daughter, Ginger Rogers.
She is survived by one son, John (Shona) Rogers of Lynx; two grandchildren: Sara (Brian) Ross of West Union and Caitlin Rogers of Lynx; two great grandchildren, Ella and Brynn Ross of West Union; one sister, Linda Stutz of Circleville; three brothers: Mike (Sandy) Praete of Huber Heights, Roy Stutz of Cedar Mills, and Harold (Beverly) Stutz of West Union, and several nieces and nephews.
She was retired from the Ohio River Company where she was a cook. She had also been a cook for the Adams County Manor.
The visitation is from 10 am until 12 pm Thursday, January 5, 2017 at Lafferty Funeral Home in West Union. There will be no funeral service. The interment will be at East Liberty Cemetery in Lynx.
