Mrs. White was born on January 17, 1950 to William and Annie Beale Reeves in Suffolk, VA. She was a homemaker and loved taking care of her nephew who she had guardianship of from an early age. Virgie also enjoyed spending time with her husband fishing, and gardening. She was a loving wife, sister, and mother to Henley.
Along with her parents, Virgie was predeceased by her husband Tommy J. White.
Virgie is survived by her guardianship son, Henley Nelms, her siblings, William E. Reeves, Peggy Norris, Johnny Reeves, Richard Reeves, and Delores Apperson, her niece, Connie Reeves, and her great niece, Elizabeth A. Reeves.
A celebration of life graveside service will be held on Monday, March 7, 2016, at 10:00 am at the Holly Lawn Cemetery, in Suffolk, VA.
