THOMAS LINGER, SR. DIES IN FLORIDA

Thomas C. Linger, Sr., 86, a former Findlay resident, died at his home, 404 Pine St, Oneco, Florida, at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday. Death was due to a heart ailment.

Mr. Linger owned and operated the Ohio Hay and Grain Co., and the Ohio Hay and Grain Co, and the Supply Co. here from 1908-1946. In 1946 he purchased the former Crawfis College buildings near Ottawa and converted them into apartments.

A son of Phillip and Susan Linger, he was born Feb. 14, 1873 at Vandalia, West Virginia. In 1908 he married Alice Peters who died in 1942. In 1945 he married May Dye who survives.

Mrs. Gerald (Virginia) Coon, Findlay, is a daughter and Thomas C. Linger, Jr., Route 1, Ottawa, is a son. A son and a daughter are dead. There are four grandchildren. He was preceded in death by two brothers and a sister.

Mrs. Linger was a member of the Central Church of Christ.

Services were held in the Griffin Klein Funeral Home, Bradenton, Florida. The body was returned to the Barnhart Memorial for services here.
