Anna Louise Hoover, age 85, slipped peacefully into the arms of Jesus Tuesday, February 24, 2015 at Denison Nursing and Rehabilitation.
Mrs. Hoover was born June 30, 1929 in Webb City, Oklahoma the daughter of William and Corene (Collins) Trostle. Anna married the love of her life, Walter Hoover on October 8, 1949 in Ponca City, Oklahoma. Together, Mrs. Hoover and her family moved to Denison in 1969 and she began working at K Wolens department store. She retired from her work there after 15 years of employment to help raise her grandchildren. She loved her family immensely and will be missed deeply by all who knew and loved her.
Mrs. Hoover is survived by her loving family, husband of 65 years, Walter Hoover of Denison; daughter, Khonda Bowling of Denison; grandchildren, Ada Gonzales and husband, Daniel of Lewisville, TX and Calab Bowling and fiancé, Elizabeth Carlson of Tomball, TX; brother, Doug Trostle of Duncan, OK and sisters, Pauline Kenton of Bartlesville, OK, Frances Worz of Cleveland, OH and Helen New of Oklahoma City, OK. She was preceded in death by her parents and brothers, W. E. “Bill” Trostle Jr and Donald Franklin Trostle.
Celebration of Life Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, March 4, 2015 at Fisher Funeral Chapel with Pastor Roger Speers officiating. There is no set time for family visitation.
