Julia Danielle "Julie" Bailey, was born April 20, 1981 in Columbus, Ohio to Claude "Rob" Sheldon and Debra Lynn (Sech) Bailey. At age 35, passed away suddenly on December 23, 2016.

Julie was a graduate of Briggs High School where she excelled in varsity volleyball and softball. She went on to attend Southeast Career Center's Law Enforcement Program. Upon graduation, she became the first female police officer for the Franklin Township Police Department.

After moving to Marysville, she took a position with Tri-County Corrections as a prison guard. Julie had a zest for life and was spunky and outspoken. She enjoyed spending time with friends and family and standing up for what she believed in. She will be missed by all who knew her.

She was preceded in death by grandparents Claude Bailey, Sr., Paul and Loretta (Perkins) Sech and uncle Jim Louden.

Julie is survived by her loving parents, Rob and Debbie Bailey; grandmother, Viola Bailey; uncles, Paul (Jane) Sech and Chuck (Tammy) Sech; aunt, Connie Louden; cousins, Dawn (Darrell) Robinson, Cassie and Evan Robinson, Michael and Darren Sech, Paul Sech, Jr.; great-aunts, Nellie Hughes and Sandy Wood; and great-uncle, Andy Sech.
