Mr. Gonzales died Tuesday in Fort Stockton. He was born Oct. 28, 1903, in Marfa. He married Dolores Aguilar on Dec. 29, 1926, in Marfa.

self-
employed mechanic and a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church.
Survivors include his wife, Do-lores, of Pecos; three daughters, Merced Aguirre of Odessa, Consuelo Hernandez of Fort Stockton and Elodia Sedillo of Pecos; a son, Santos Gonzales III of Odessa; 16 grandchildren; and 19 great-grandchildren.
