RANTOUL -- The Franklin County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the death of a 46-year-old Ottawa man.
Justin Large was found dead Wednesday evening in his residence in the 2000 block of Texas Road, Rantoul, according to a sheriff’s report.
Jeff Richards, Franklin County sheriff, said Friday afternoon he could not release more details at this time.
Large has been involved recently in a couple of incidents with local law enforcement, according to police and sheriff records.
He was issued a citation by the Ottawa Police Department on suspicion of battery on Christmas Even in the 1300 block of South Main Street, Ottawa, according to police reports.
In October, Large was arrested by the sheriff’s office on suspicion of possession of methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia and a Leavenworth County warrant for failure to appear in court, according to a sheriff’s report.
