Wife of Job Comstock

Daughter of Christopher Hawkins and Margery Greene

Mother of:

1. Mercy (Comstock) Eldred (1765-1847)
m Weeden Eldred.

2. Job Comstock (1766-1812) Pea Ridge, Washington County NC.

3. Margery (Comstock) Franklin
m Stephen Franklin

Hannah was the sister of Thomas Hawkins m Anna Torrey, daughter of Reverend Joseph Torrey of SK.

The cemetery only shows Hannah and her son-in-law Stephen Franklin buried here, but no doubt her husband Job who died 1811 is also buried here as well as her daughter Margery (Comstock) Franklin.

This land appears to be part of Job Comstock's estate. As has been found, it's likely the church, which was not built until the 1830's, simply used the existing burial ground.
