A WWI soldier, an old NZSG transcription read: N.Z.E.F 252563 Pte A Duncan died 21 December 1935. I am yet to find a match by that number. I will keep hunting and let you know, so whether you want to just make a note that its WWI soldier. Contributor: Althea B (48514447)
This seems too much of a coincidence and with the Scottish mother it would make sense he served from UK Argyll and Sutherland Highlanders 252563 Private. Source: The National Archives, Kew
There is a photo of his medal card I could add as a pic? Contributor: Althea B (48514447)
