He was born in Racine on Oct. 15, 1903, and as a child came to Kenosha to reside. He was educated at St. George School and Kenosha Vocational School.
For 35 years he was employed at American Motors Corp., mostly as a stockman, retiring on Jan. 1, 1966. He was most recently employed at Washington Road Hardware.
On Oct. 16, 1946 he married Marion Steinbach at St. George Church.
The deceased was a member of St. George's Church, its Holy Name Society, HEISS Court 159, KeNashA Club, and Local 72 AMC Retirees, and at the time of his death was chief ranger of the Catholic Order of Foresters.
Surviving besides his wife are a son and daughter; two grandchildren, a brother and three sisters. He was preceded in death by two brothers and a sister.
