Larry was born in Omaha on February 6, 1947 to Gerald W. and Joyce E. (Wagner) Starmer. Larry served his country in the US Army for 6 years and US Navy for 7. He formerly worked at Gate City Steel and Lozier Company for 24 years. Larry has been a member of First Baptist Church for the past 30 years, and was united in marriage to his wife Penny on June 24, 1989.
He is preceded in death by his father, Gerald; mother and stepfather, Lou and Joyce Turner; brothers, Dennis and Gary; brother-in-law, Steve Dodd.
