Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Monday, December 26, 2016 at White Plains Baptist Church with Pastor William Souther officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12:30 until 1:30 prior to the service at the church.
Mrs. Jordan was born July 15, 1925 in Wilkes County to Paul and Pearl Blackburn Byrd. She was a Homemaker and Seamstress. Mrs. Jordan was a member of White Plains Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband; Elton John Jordan, three sisters; Mozelle Anthony, Bernice Elmore and Maxine Gibson and one brother; Roscoe Byrd.
She is survived by three sons; Michael Jordan and wife Rachel of North Wilkesboro, Gary Jordan and wife Carmen of North Wilkesboro, Alan Jordan and wife Debbie of Lenoir, sister; Peggy Miller of Portland Oregon, two brothers; Ken Byrd and wife Faye of Roaring River and Clarence Byrd of Roaring River, three grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Association 4600 Park Road Suite 250, Charlotte NC 28209.
